OMG ! I’m so bad for explaining how I edit videos and most especially for older videos and in that case, it is because I made this video almost three years ago and my current editing style is not the same I had then.
Tbh I really don’t know how to do a vidding tutorial and it would take so much time, knowing the fact I included so many -MANY- effects in this video. Actually I learned editing with practice and watching videos of others vidders. Eventually if I couldn’t figure out the effect, I asked someone how he/she managed to edit this effect.
I don’t know what program but you have… As I always work with Sony Vegas Pro, I can give you a few advices if you have that software.
For the timing, once you imported the song you want to edit in your project and open an audio track, you can see higher peaks and most often, these peaks fit to the beats of the song. For “The Scientist” these peaks were easy to distinguish and it’s not always the case with some songs. Unfortunately. And each time you see a new peak or hear a new beat, you include a new clip (it’s the way I used to edit most of the time)
The coloring ? Oups, that’s the hardest part. Then, my colorings were not really even. And I honestly don’t remember what coloring I made. But for two years I’ve used a bunch of effects for the coloring, not only one but many of them like : levels, color curves, color correction, brightess and contrast, soft contract, glow... Sometimes you need to use at least 5 effects to have a beautiful coloring (that’s my opinion and I’m sure that some vidders can make wonderful colorings with only 3 effects). Once you play with the settings and you find a coloring you like, you can save it. Here is a link to know how to save a coloring : [x]
The reversing, that’s the easier part… When you have a clip you want to reverse, click-right on this clip, a window should open and there are many options and you can see an effect called “reverse”. There is another way to reverse but the way I just give you is the easier one.

Well… it’s really the first time I have such a horrible message in my ask-box and I don’t think I deserve such hate.
Anyway.
So are you trying to tell me that your preferences are better than other people’s ? WOW…that’s very respectful. Are you not so conceited to think so ?
But you want me to answer your ‘polite’ message ?
Firstly I don’t care about what you think. If you don’t like, fine. But my subbers love what I edit and though I don’t edit videos as much as I want, their support always means a lot for me. I never thought I was or am a talented vidder but I edit videos because it’s my hobby and also a way to ‘escape’ the real life & share the things I love or tell my feelings. Obviously you failed to understand that.
Secondly, perhaps I will stop doing videos but that will be not because of people like you who are agressive and coward. That will be because I won’t have motivation anymore and/or time (studies, work, family life…). Also I won’t spend all my lifetime editing videos and I’m already aware of that. When I will stop doing videos, that would be BECAUSE I DECIDE IT.
And finally, no ! I won’t get out to please you. You just come in my ask-box to give a hateful message, and cowardly moreover (yes I insist on this term because it’s what you are). If you don’t like what I do, YOU get out off my channel and my blog. And please, for your OWN sake, get a real life so perhaps you will do something more constructive that send hateful messages to everyone you don’t like.

As you already know, Anne Boleyn is a fascination for me. I love to edit different videos focusing on her, her life, her family… But for a very long time I wanted to edit a video about her and Mary Tudor. Though I found a great song, I think it’s too long and I wanted to ask you what song you could suggest to me :)
